Popped in for brunch after visiting the nearby health centre with my elderly parents. Met with a really warm welcome and shown to a table. The owner's kindly tweaked my dad's order for him and within minutes warm and freshly cooked food arrived. I had the pancakes which were divine. Great food and service, wish I didn't live so far away from this little gem! Very well priced too.

might be the best breakfast i’ve ever had in the uk, came here multiple times with my gf when we lived in ashby and still come up occasionally as it’s so good and also so cheap, milkshakes are great too

Friendly, attentive staff and excellent food. Had a soya flat white and the pancakes with bacon and golden syrup - everything was perfect. Lovely atmosphere too. The food had been eaten before I remembered to take a photo, but did get a photo of their logo on the wall and these cute salt and pepper pots! We didn't book, and that wasn't a problem today, but I think next time I will book a table just to avoid disappointment. Would definitely recommend this place.

Great authentic cafe, the owner is brilliant, makes you feel very welcome. The range of food is really good, it’s great being able to see your food being cooked and it tastes superb, fresh and well presented. There’s easy free on site parking for up to 2 hrs and it must be good as there were plenty of regulars who the owner knew what they wanted to drink before they even asked. If you’re in Ashby and you want quality authentic food with a nice Mediterranean twist then it’s well worth the visit.

Lovely peaceful place to sit and have a coffee. Parking available right outside. A good selection on the daily specials board. Didn't try the food but it looked very nice

What a gem of a café! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile and the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The building is modern and welcoming — the perfect place to relax, catch up with friends, or enjoy a slow morning. We ordered the large full English breakfast and it was absolutely delicious — everything cooked perfectly, from the crispy bacon to the golden eggs. With 3 of everything- it was HUGE and only £13. We also tried the smashed avocado on thick brown toast with mushrooms, which was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. To top it all off, the owner even gave us a free hash brown — such a lovely, thoughtful gesture that really made our morning! The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly take pride in what they do. The food, the coffee, and the overall experience were faultless. The freshly squeezed orange juice machine is a brilliant addition to the cafe. If you’re looking for a café that serves amazing food with genuine hospitality, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!
